Hermetically closed device

Definition of terms for "hermetically sealed equipment" with fluorinated refrigerants in accordance with EU Regulation No.517 / 2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council 

A "hermetically sealed device" is a refrigeration system in which all components containing fluorinated refrigerants are sealed by welding, brazing or a similar permanent connection and which may also contain secured valves or secure access points for maintenance, for proper repair or disposal serve. The components may only have a tested leakage rate of less than 3 grams per year under a pressure of at least one fourth of the maximum permissible pressure.
