Innovative Infrared Technology Delivers Improved Sensitivity and Long Life The original D-TEK gauge - the first accurate, reliable, highly sensitive wireless refrigerant leak detector - revolutionized this area of measurement technology. The D-TEK Select Refrigerant Leak Detector is an evolution based on this technological advance. This next-generation refrigerant leak detector incorporates an innovative infrared absorption sensor cell that is highly sensitive to all refrigerants - and only refrigerants. The D-TEK Select Refrigerant Leak Detector maintains this sensitivity over time, enabling consistent, accurate and reliable performance even with the newer refrigerant blends. Particularly noteworthy is the long service life of the sensor cell of around 1000 hours, almost 10 times longer than the original D-TEK sensor. This reduces operating costs and increases jobsite productivity. Other improvements include a battery level indicator, a sensor malfunction indicator and rechargeable nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries. All this in an easy-to-use device with the quality and robustness you have come to expect from INFICON.
