Ball shut-off valves, GBC
GBC ball shut-off valves are manual shut-off valves that can be used in both flow directions. The valves are used in liquid, suction and hot gas lines in refrigeration, freezer and air conditioning systems. GBC valves provide maximum sealing, both on the inside over the valve seat and on the outside. They are designed to operate in all temperature conditions without the possibility of trapped liquid problems. They are designed to operate over a wide temperature range and are approved for use with any fluorinated refrigerant. Standard GBC valves can be used in high pressure refrigerant applications including R410A. GBC bidirectional ball shut-off valves can be supplied with or without external access. A dedicated series with a maximum operating pressure of 90 bar has been developed for CO2 applications. GBC valves are equipped with a one-piece protective cap seal. GBC ball shut-off valves meet the European directive on safety EN 378 (safety and environmental requirements). The one-piece, sealable cap rounds off the equipment.
