VDE Refrigeration technology for engineers

Mason, Thomas Refrigeration technology for engineers

The teaching and reference work for students and engineers deals in detail with the basics of refrigeration technology - from the various refrigeration processes and refrigeration machines to system components and refrigerants to cold load calculations and energetic and exergetic considerations. Applications such as heat pumps, cooling towers, vehicle air conditioning and low-temperature technology are clearly explained.

The author attached particular importance to the fact that the readers can evaluate the feasibility of alternative technical possibilities.

The book is suitable for self-study.

Professor Maurer teaches the fields of refrigeration technology and vehicle air conditioning at the Technical University of Central Hesse and is a publicly appointed and sworn expert for refrigeration technology. Previously, he worked as a technical director of a Japanese research and development company, as a research assistant at the University of Kassel and as a development engineer at Robert Bosch GmbH.

Group of interested parties:

Engineers (students, but also for self-study) with planning and development tasks in the fields of mechanical engineering, energy and heating technology, refrigeration technology, process engineering, air conditioning technology and technical building equipment
