Safety valves are safety devices against excessive pressure.
Hansa Kältetechnik GmbH
Ball shut-off valves type KAV
Hansa-Automotive GmbH offers shut-off valves as diaphragm shut-off valves (HV) and ball shut-off valves (KAV) for use in the refrigeration and air conditioning circuit.
Hansa-Automotive GmbH shut-off valves
Hansa-Automotive GmbH offers shut-off valves as diaphragm shut-off valves (HV) and ball shut-off valves (KAV) for use in the refrigeration and air conditioning circuit.
Ball shut-off valves type KAV
Welded and ″bi-flow″ ball shut-off valves can be used in refrigeration, freezing and air conditioning systems, as well as being suitable for liquid lines, suction lines and hot gas lines.
Advantages
- Bi-flow, i.e. H. Any assembly, regardless of the flow direction.
- The tightness of the ball is guaranteed by two Teflon sleeves.
- The mark on the stem indicates whether the valve is open or closed.
- Can be soldered in without dismantling components.
- Maximum flow with the lowest pressure loss.
- Suitable for use in liquid, suction and hot gas lines.
- Sealable valve cap.
- Mounting plate with screws are included in delivery.
Technical advice
- Material designation according to DIN EN 12164 → CW 614N.
- For all refrigerants (not NH3 and containing NH3).
- Maximum permissible operating pressure up to 120 bar.
- Temperature resistance from – 40 °C to + 150 °C.
Also available as ball shut-off valves (KAV) with filling valve.
Diaphragm shut-off valves type HVK
Diaphragm shut-off valves are supplied with cover caps and are to be operated manually. Valve body in hot-pressed version made of brass, therefore non-porous and gas-tight.
Technical advice
- Permissible temperature range - 40 °C to + 120 °C for refrigerant.
- Maximum permissible operating pressure 40 bar.
- Suitable for all refrigerants (except NH3 and those containing NH3).
