Hansa Kältetechnik GmbH

Hansa overflow valve type ÜSV/HD-ÜSV

Due to the counter-pressure-independent design, the refrigerant is either returned to the low-pressure side of the refrigeration system or collected in a special container.

Advantages of an overflow valve

Due to the counter-pressure-independent design, the refrigerant is either returned to the low-pressure side of the refrigeration system or collected in a special container. This prevents refrigerants from being released into the atmosphere.

  • Response pressure is available from 10 bar to 45 bar.
  • The desired response pressure is set and individually documented by DEKRA with an acceptance certificate.
  • The tightness of the valve seat is ensured by a refrigerant-resistant, permanently elastic and dimensionally stable seal.

Suitable for all refrigerants (except NH3 and those containing NH3).

Regulations

The HANSA-Kaeltetechnik-ÜSV/HD-ÜSV is component-tested according to AD-Merkblatt A2, in accordance with the regulations of the technical supervisory board (VdTÜV) and at the same time fulfills the approval according to the EC Directive 2014/68/EU.

Technical notes

  • Material designation according to DIN EN 12164 - CW 617 N L
  • Permissible temperature range - 30 °C to + 120 °C
  • Temperature range for other media on request

Areas of application for the safety valves type ÜSV/HD-ÜSV

The accident prevention regulations of the main association of commercial employers' liability insurance associations stipulate that refrigeration systems with a filling weight of more than 10kg of group 1 refrigerant must be equipped with a safety device against an impermissible increase in pressure. This also applies to liquid collectors that can be shut off from all sides during operation.

HANSA Kaeltetechnik safety valves of type ÜSV/HD-ÜSV meet the approval requirements of EC Directive 2014/68/EU.
