The thermal shutter

is a newly developed air curtain system developed by MAYEKAWA for industrial (deep) cooling systems. Conventional air curtains, in which the cooling air only flows from one direction, become less effective as the distance from the cold air outlet increases due to the heat flows that occur. The two-sided, horizontal flow profile of the Thermo Shutter creates a more even pressure over the entire surface of the air curtain, making it more effective. Installing a thermal shutter results in energy savings, higher product quality and improved hygiene.
