Hitema Propan Chiller PRP

The PRP series comprises air-cooled modular liquid coolers offering all the advantages of the natural refrigerant R290 and modularity.

R290 stands as a natural alternative to conventional high GWP HFC refrigerants. Propane exhibits excellent environmental properties with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0) and negligible global warming potential (GWP = 3). Furthermore, its thermodynamic properties make it highly versatile for comfort, industrial use, and low water temperature applications.

Modularity allows for high redundancy—up to ten modules can be interconnected to form a single cooler with up to ten operating stages, with each module capable of functioning independently as a cooler. Scalability is inherent in modularity: Additional modules can be added later as the need for cooling capacity increases. Moreover, modularity ensures reliability: In the event of a malfunction, each module can be easily isolated from others, allowing the remaining modules to continue functioning, thus avoiding costly production downtime.

High reliability is also achieved through condenser coils with copper tubes and aluminum fins, ensuring an extended lifespan for the cooler.

The PRP series is available in a standard version (PRP.120) and a high-performance version (PRP.100).
