The DH 160 industrial condenser dryer, which can also be supplied with a stainless steel housing, is characterized equally by its high dehumidification capacity, reliable continuous operation properties and practical equipment options. Designed for standing operation, the device can also be installed on the wall or under the ceiling and connected to existing air duct systems without any problems if the on-site preparation is made.

The DH 160 dehumidifier has a smooth-running scroll compressor for constant, pulsation-free pressure for energy-efficient cooling. In conjunction with its self-regulating EC centrifugal fan, this robust industrial dryer ensures consistently high dehumidification performance in continuous operation, even at low temperatures.

Easy installation and commissioning

The DH 160 is an effective dehumidification solution that can be installed immediately without any additional construction work, and can also be retrofitted to support existing air treatment systems. Simply set it up, connect it to the power supply and lay the condensate drain hose - done.

In contrast to competitor models of the same class, the DH 160 already has a built-in condensate pump as standard, which is why the condensate can also be drained off to higher-lying areas without any problems.

  

HIGH PROFITABILITY

 

In large-volume recirculation mode, this industrial dryer removes most of the moisture from the air according to the target moisture content preselected by the hygrostat. The double-flow, steplessly self-regulating EC centrifugal fan and the powerful compression refrigeration system of the DH 160 ensure high efficiency.

The dry air supplied to the room is heated at the same time by the process, so that the use of conventional heating and ventilation energy can be noticeably reduced. Due to an efficiency (COP) of 2.9, the DH 160 is able to simultaneously generate 2.9 kW of heat output during dehumidification from every kilowatt of energy consumed.

In addition, the professional hot gas defrosting of the DH 160 works with automatically controlled cycle inversion. In this process, the refrigerant circuit is briefly reversed via a four-way valve to keep the evaporator free of ice, so that the previously cold evaporator now becomes a hot condenser and vice versa. Compared to hot gas bypass defrost, cycle inversion results in faster defrost, improving efficiency and thus increasing the net OEE of this dehumidifier.

Without effective control, humidity can lead to a variety of problems in production processes and in inventory, furniture or stored goods. Optimum humidity control not only protects against rust, rot, material decomposition or reduced quality during processing and storage of goods, mold formation can also be reliably prevented. Its robust design with high dehumidification performance and easy installation options make the DH 160 an effective all-purpose solution for a wide variety of applications, for example:

  • Keeping production facilities and storage rooms dry with specific humidity requirements
  • Corrosion protection in ship engine rooms and optimal storage atmosphere for moisture-sensitive goods during transport
  • Dehumidification of water technology facilities and pumping stations to prevent condensate formation on pipes or pumps
  • Prevention of corrosion in electrical switchboards, boiler systems, turbines and pipe systems in power plants

OPTIONALLY ADJUSTABLE

Even in the standard version, the DH 160 is highly resistant to corrosion and environmental influences thanks to its galvanised, powder-coated steel construction and can also be additionally adapted for special requirements:

  • Stainless steel version Ideal for use in areas with special hygiene requirements or particularly reactive air environments. The stainless steel case is easy to clean and made of AISI 316 material, which is particularly resistant to various chemical solutions such as sulfuric acid and iodides. In addition, AISI 316 has a very high resistance to corrosion, especially to chlorides.
  • Heat exchanger with KTL coating Ideal for use in particularly reactive air environments. Thanks to cathodic dip painting (KTL), the coating of the heat exchanger is resistant to solvents and corrosion as well as to acids and alkalis.
  • High-pressure fan The fan is available with a static pressure increase (200 Pa) for a larger volume flow, which means that longer air transport distances are possible, for example when connecting to existing air duct systems.
  • Defrost below 0 °C To lower the dew point in particularly cold environments, such as cold rooms, a temperature extension is available for the DH 160, which extends its operating range to -0.5 °C to +42 °C.
