Trane XStream water chillers are designed to achieve industry-leading performance in partial load operation without harming the environment.
- Refrigerants:
- R1234ze with a greenhouse potential close to 0 (< 1)
- R134a
- The multiple compressor design enables outstanding partial load efficiencies by shutting down compressors while utilizing the entire heat exchange surface for the remaining compressors.
- Dual Circuit: XStream water chillers and heat pumps employ a serial counter-flow heat exchange design to reduce compressor utilization under all operating conditions.
- 2 Different Efficiencies:
- XE: Extra High Efficiency
- HSE: High Seasonal Efficiency (with AFD)
