Oil Separator Collector (OSR)
The combined oil separator-collectors are specially designed for use in high-pressure oil control systems and score with less space and installation effort, in contrast to conventional oil separators, they do not have a float valve. The devices of type OSR are delivered with sight glasses and a shut-off valve as standard. Electronic oil level regulators of type ERM5 are available to match the oil separator-collectors for setting up a high-pressure oil regulation system.
Installation and start-up: During start-up, the oil collector must be filled up to the top sight glass with the compressor refrigeration machine oil via the oil separator section. Topping up should only take place when the oil level falls below the level of the lower sight glass.
