Grundfos is one of the leading suppliers of pumps and pump systems worldwide with more than 80 companies. In addition, regional and local representations complement the sales and service organization. The company, headquartered in Bjerringbro, Denmark, employs more than 18,000 people and produces more than 16 million pumps per year. The distribution center for Germany with approximately 360 employees is based in Erkrath, the nationwide sales are organized customer-oriented in branches. Grundfos employs more than 1,000 people at three production sites in Germany.

In building services Grundfos is a full-service provider of pumps for heating, air conditioning and ventilation as well as water supply, pressure boosting, fire extinguishing systems, drainage and waste water transport. As the world leader in heating circulation pumps, Grundfos has been instrumental in the development of self-regulating and energy-efficient heating pumps. Today, the Alpha2 and Alpha3 as well as the Magna3 are state-of-the-art circulating pumps for single-family and multi-family dwellings. From the basement drainage pump to the lifting system to the cutting wheel pump, Grundfos also presents itself as a competent full-service provider in the field of waste and sewage disposal around the building - from a single-family home to the largest real estate.

The industrial division covers, among other things, the mechanical engineering, plant engineering, water treatment, automotive and commercial water supply and sanitation sectors. The broad product portfolio includes pumps for the secondary processes in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage technology, cooling and temperature control, water treatment and numerous other applications.

For the water industry Grundfos offers products for the entire water cycle from the underwater pump to groundwater extraction, via pressure booster systems and pumps for water distribution, to sewage pumps and lifting systems, agitators for sewage treatment plants and pressure modules for water treatment.
