Operating Principle
The TOPAZ is a cooling tower with an adiabatic cooling section before air entry. The air temperature is reduced at higher ambient temperatures. Activation of adiabatic pre-cooling occurs when the temperature rises and the water outlet temperature is higher than required. Axial fans draw ambient air through the wetted humidification bodies and subsequently through the heat exchangers.
