Air Cooler Variety: The Optimal Product for Every Refrigerant.

In the area of "conventional" refrigerants, Roller has always offered a wide range of evaporators of all designs for the A1 category. For use with refrigerants that can lead to flammable atmospheres, we developed our A2L/A3 variants. Electrical defrost systems, grounding systems, and EC fan units have been adapted accordingly. The newly introduced label MultiRef (Multiple Refrigerants) signifies that these air coolers can be used with flammable refrigerants and, of course, are also suitable for A1—hence the name MultiRef. During operation, they offer advantages, such as their improved and more efficient defrost system, which provides more even heat distribution.

At Chillventa 2024, Roller will present its latest advancements and new developments.

HVS/T Air Coolers (MultiRef)

The HVS/T air cooler series is an integral part of Roller and has always been popular and extremely robust evaporators that have proven themselves in countless applications. HVS/Ts are characterized by a classic, cubic device design that is not wide but features narrow dimensions. The evaporators have large heat exchanger surfaces, which results in minimal dehumidification during cooling processes, leading to optimal cooling quality. The model updates for air coolers include an efficient evaporator tube system in sizes X00-X06, allowing a maximum operating pressure of 80 bar in the CO2Oler versions and enabling future MultiRef versions. Since the device housings correspond in every detail to the conventional housings, replacing them after many years of operation is easy and requires minimal effort.

DLK/T Next (CO2Oler)

Did you know? Flat ceiling air coolers in the field of commercial refrigeration/freezing are called DLK/T at Roller. The more powerful versions were introduced as NEXT units. For these, a new generation of EC fans (optional) is being launched, which can inform about the operating status and current speed via Modbus in a cloud, enabling load-dependent control. Since the current backpressure can also provide insights into the defrost condition of the evaporator block, precise demand-driven defrosting becomes possible.

All Roller products, including extensive accessories, are conveniently compiled in the EasySelect design software. The program precisely calculates the cooling capacity thermodynamically, suggests suitable products, and configures everything available in innovative accessories, e.g., to further enhance defrost efficiency for the respective series.
