Self-limiting automatic bleeder

GEA Purger is a purging device that reduces to a minimum the concentration of air and other non-condensable gases that may enter the refrigeration circuit during system operation. The purger starts operating when the concentration of non-condensable gases in the liquid receiver is 2% or more. It switches itself off again automatically as soon as the concentration has dropped back to 1%. The effective displacement of non-condensable gases ensures efficient operation of the refrigeration system over the long term

Maximizing cooling capacity

  • Minimizing the energy consumption of the refrigeration system
  • Increased safety throughout the refrigeration system
  • Maximum system availability at all ambient temperatures
  • Suitable for all conventional refrigerants
  • Plug and play installation with just one connection
  • Independent operation from the main system possible
  • Guarantees a final concentration of non-condensable gases below 2%
  • Savings of over 95% refrigerant compared to manual venting
  • Operating hours counter for recording the effective venting time
  • Suitable for ambient temperatures of up to 45 °C
