Erhard Planck is a trained heavy-current electrician and, after studying electrical engineering and several years of practical work, graduated as a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) the 1st and 2nd state examination for teaching at vocational schools. He taught trainees in the refrigeration system construction trade in electrical and control engineering at the Education Center for Technology and Design (BZTG) of the city of Oldenburg. Dieter Schmidt studied mechanical engineering, German and vocational education for the teaching profession at vocational schools at the TU Hannover and teaches trainees in the refrigeration system construction trade at the vocational schools in Springe. He is a member of the journeyman examination committee of the refrigeration system builders' guild in Lower Saxony/Saxony-Anhalt and is the author and publisher of other textbooks and specialist books.
