Refrigeration system technology in questions and answers (volume 2)

Planck, Erhard; Schmidt, Dieter (ed.) Refrigeration system technology in questions and answers

With regard to the journeyman's examination part 2, in which case-oriented tasks have to be worked on in writing, tasks of appropriate complexity are set. This makes volume 2 of the refrigeration system technology in questions and answers" an ideal work and exercise book that can be used for learning and repetition as well as for exam preparation. Refrigeration technology learning fields:

  • Selection and assembly of heat exchangers, throttling devices and components
  • Selection and assembly of compressors
  • Construction of air conditioning plants and systems
  • Construction of refrigeration plants and systems
  • Maintenance and disposal of refrigeration and air conditioning systems

Projects electrical engineering:

  • Cold Control
  • Electronic speed control
  • Dahlander circuit
  • Start-up relief
  • Part winding motor
  • Soft start circuits
  • Frequency converter
  • Standard-compliant circuit diagrams

All circuit diagrams and solutions in color on CD.

Also available: Volume 1 (Fundamentals) covers in the same way the subject matter up to the journeyman's examination Part 1 and Volume 1 and Volume 2 in an inexpensive SET!

Erhard Planck is a trained heavy-current electrician and, after studying electrical engineering and several years of practical work, graduated as a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) the 1st and 2nd state examination for teaching at vocational schools. He taught trainees in the refrigeration system construction trade in electrical/control technology at the Education Center for Technology and Design (BZTG) of the City of Oldenburg. Dieter Schmidt studied mechanical engineering, German and vocational education for teaching at vocational schools at the Technical University of Hanover and teaches trainees in the refrigeration system construction trade at the vocational schools in Springe. He is a member of the Journal Examination Committee of the Lower Saxony/Saxony-Anhalt refrigeration system builders' guild and is the author and publisher of other textbooks and specialist books.
