Adiabatic pre-cooling

Adiabatic NH3 condensers are devices in which the heat exchanger remains dry.

They are characterized by a spatial separation between the adiabatic evaporation of water in the intake air and the downstream dry cooler.

The process, adiabatic evaporation, is carried out for a limited time and cools the intake air if necessary. If necessary, this reduces the air temperature at higher ambient temperatures. The axial fans suck the ambient air through the wetted humidifiers, then the pre-cooled dry air flows through the heat exchanger.

Easy maintenance

The vertical, parallel arrangement of the heat exchangers and the barrier-free access via a roller door allow unhindered access to the inner surfaces of the heat exchangers and the EC fans, which can thus be removed from the inside. This saves additional costs for crane, scaffolding, catwalks or external railings.
