Product Description:

Type 2780A condensate evaporators are typically used by series device manufacturers in commercial refrigeration to collect and evaporate condensed liquid from the refrigerant circuit's evaporator. The condensate evaporator is mounted horizontally below or above the refrigeration system. It is built into a stainless steel tray that serves to collect the condensate. The tray encloses a heating element with an integrated temperature sensor and the float switch. The essential component of the condensate evaporator is the housing assembly, which contains the float switch, the safety temperature limiter, and all electrical connections.

Condensate evaporators Type 2780A are only suitable for use in commercial refrigerated cabinets or similar equipment. It is the responsibility of the manufacturer of these refrigerated cabinets to ensure fuses and electrical connections are made in accordance with applicable regulations. Installation and maintenance instructions provided with the product apply.
